Blessed Mabon!

The Autumnal Equinox is upon us! It is a time of balance; a time of Dark and Light. During Mabon, we seek to align ourselves with the coming Darkness and to "reap what you sow." It is a time to celebrate the last Harvest. For those who have never celebrated Mabon before, or wish to continue their practice, we have put together a few suggested Mabon rituals to fit any spiritual practice!

Do you have an altar set up in your home? Adorn yours with autumn leaves and produce, especially apples. The apple signifies the Fruit Harvest, as well as life, regeneration, and immortality. If you choose, cut an apple width-wise in half to reveal the natural occurrence of the Pentagram in the seeds. The colors red, orange, yellow, brown are all popularly associated with Mabon. I like to add in a black candle as a tribute to the Dark Mother, who will soon make her prominent return.

Take these few days to enjoy Nature. Tend to your garden. Plant fall bulbs and cabbages. Remind yourself that with every Darkness in life, there is equal parts Light. For every Death, there is Life.

Focus on what you're grateful for. Mabon is a time to give thanks and to stay connected to the blessings we have in our lives. We are grateful for each other, you, and our entire Eclectic Coven family! We wish you a joyous Mabon and a plentiful harvest!

With Light and Love Always,

Teaghan and Stephanie
