Manifestation & the New Moon

Did you know that the New Moon is the best time to manifest?  Oddly enough, our energy feels somewhat low during the New Moon.  However, we understand that we can use this cycle as the best time to manifest what we desire.  As the Moon begins to wax to the Full Moon, your intention grows and eventually comes to fruition.

There are several ways to manifest.  We are going to list some of the ways that we utilize the New Moon phase.

Gridding:

Gridding is a very important tool.  It involves your intention, sacred geometry, and the power of crystals.  I like to grid every New Moon.  For example, say you are trying to manifest love.  You might want to use a grid with a Clear Quartz or Rose Quartz tower (in the center) as your generator.  Surround your generator with tumbles that serve your intention.  Some tumbles we know that are useful for love are Rose Quartz, Rhodonite, Green Aventurine, Rhodochrosite, and Moonstone.  Maybe you are trying to manifest financial prosperity.  You should consider using a Clear Quartz or Citrine Generator and surrounding it with tumbles such as Pyrite, Citrine, Green Aventurine, and Moss Agate.  Connect these grids with clear quartz points.  You can even add some selenite to keep your grids cleansed and charged and some copper to give it a boost.  Check out our website for some of our beautiful wooden grids and tumbles!

Money Bowl:

I use a bowl I found in a thrift shop that called to me.  It is gold.  Gold is the universal color of prosperity.  In the United States of America, we tend to associate prosperity with the color green.  However, money in many other countries do not have green printed money.  Gold is universal and the universe will not mistake that color.  Choose a bowl of any color that speaks to you!  I cleanse my Money Bowl with sage and an incense that represents prosperity.  Then, I add some cinnamon sticks, Rosemary, and Patchouli.  Next, I add my Basil Leaves.  Before I add my Basil Leaves, I write exactly how much money I am manifesting.  I make it clear and concise so as not to confuse the universe.  Then, I will add some tumbles and other items that represent prosperity.  I used a little figurine of Lakshmi, the Hindu Goddess of Wealth and an Aventurine Buddha as well.  Then, I light a gold chime candle and place it in a chime holder in the center of the bowl.  You can carve dollar signs and the amount you want to attract onto the candle.  Let the candle burn down to the bottom.  Chime candles work best since they do not make a waxy mess.  Sometimes I borrow a tumble or two from my money bowl, but I make sure to give it something in return.  Building a relationship and tending to your bowl is a great way to continue to attach your energy to your bowl.

Altars:

I have many altars in my home.  I have a love altar, a prosperity altar, a protection altar, and a magick/third eye altar.  Like anything else, altars are personal to you.  It can be a small table or it can be a shelving unit.  Add crystals and figurines to your altar that match your intentions.  You can even place your grid on that altar.  Remember to give love and tend to your altar.  Sage and cleanse it often.  Add to it and borrow from it in times of need.

Ritual:

A ritual that has worked extremely well for me in the past starts with a cleansing bath, included with epsom salt. Starting with cleansing myself & my space with sage, I then write my intentions on a piece of paper, gather crystals for that work towards my intentions for the new moon cycle & place myself in a circle surrounded by these crystals. A white candle (or any color for said intention) is burned & I meditate. My meditations can last for 5-10 minutes, it really depends on how deep I fall into it. The written down intentions get put in my pillow, and I have read it out loud every night.

Always remember that magick is personal. What works for us, may not work for you. What we wish to provide is our experience that you can take & make into your own. Trust your gut. We wish you all a happy new moon!

Lots of Love & Light,

Teaghan & Stephanie
